Topics covered include working with Call Detail Records, basic analysis of calling patterns and geography as well as common pitfalls of using this type of data as evidence. Basic Cell Phone and Cell Tower Overview Training |

The two day hands-on training workshop is a comprehensive program that stresses practical application. We will start from scratch, so no experience is needed. Participants will be given sample sets of cell phone call and tower data as well as software to allow them to apply the skills they learn. Topics covered include: - Basic Data Analysis - Call Record and Cell Tower Analysis - Charting Analyzed Data - Evidence Presentation There are no pre-requisites, so you don’t have to take the basic course first, although familiarity with Excel will help. The course culminates with participants presenting an analysis of their case to the class. Included with the registration is a copy of the mapping software we train on, which is currently a Microsoft product. Also included are reference guides and all of the sample data sets for you to refer back to.
